Kazakhstani carrier Vietjet Qazaqstan has completed the implementation of a new IT system for crew management. The system was provided by the US-based developer AIMS. The AIMS Crew Management and Operations Control system is expected to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and support the airline’s future growth.

“This system will allow us to further optimize crew utilization, improve operational reliability, and reduce costs,” said Francesc Torres, Chief Operating Officer of Vietjet Qazaqstan.

The implementation of the crew management system was finalized in December 2025, ahead of a major shift in the carrier’s business model. Last year, the airline came under the control of Vietnamese investors and became part of the Vietjet aviation group.

This year, the airline will begin taking delivery of medium-haul Boeing 737MAX narrowbody aircraft. This will enable the carrier to transition from primarily domestic operations within Kazakhstan to expanding its international route network into neighboring countries.
