Uzbekistan Airways has returned its Boeing 767-300 (registration UK67007) to operation following an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk, Russia on January 21. The aircraft was performing flight HY707 from Tashkent to Vladivostok at the time of the incident.

The 101 passengers on board were flown to Vladivostok the following day on a backup aircraft, Krasnoyarsk Airport reported.

The emergency landing was caused by an engine failure. A replacement powerplant was delivered from Tashkent on January 24 on an Uzbekistan Air Force Ilyushin Il-76 transport plane. Specialists from Uzbekistan Airways Technics performed the engine swap on the airport apron.

Flight tracking data shows that UK67007 returned from Krasnoyarsk to Tashkent on January 26 and was cleared for passenger service the following day.
