Turkish Technic lands first airline customer in Uzbekistan
Turkish MRO specialist agreed to provide component pool access for Centrum Air’s A320 fleet
Turkish Technic signed an agreement to provide component pool access for the Airbus A320 family fleet of Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private carrier. The signing ceremony took place on the second day of the MRO Central Asia exhibition and conference held in Tashkent.
The agreement is set for a three-year term with an option for renewal, Centrum Air told CentralAsia+ Aero. For Turkish Technic, Centrum Air marks its first airline customer in Uzbekistan.
Gaining access to Turkish Technic’s extensive parts inventory will allow the Uzbek carrier to ensure the seamless operation of its fleet. The airline currently operates 11 narrowbody aircraft from the A320 family, including both ceo and neo generations. By the end of 2026, the carrier expects to take delivery of an additional six aircraft from this family.
“We value Turkish Technic’s global expertise and are confident that this collaboration will support our long-term growth and operational excellence,” said Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and CEO of Centrum Air.
